1 to 1 1/2 heads of broccoli (use raw florets only)
1/4 to 1/2 lb. bacon, crisp and crumbly
1 large handfuls raisins
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tbs. poppy seeds
Whisk the dressing ingredients together until smooth and mix well with the broccoli. Add bacon, raisins, and onion and mix together again. Serves eight to ten.
