Burgundy Beef
(Authentic Boeuf Bourguignon)

Melt fat in a large pot. Brown onions in fat. Remove. Cut steak into bite-sized pieces. Brown in fat. Add flour, seasonings, mushrooms, onions, stock, and wine. Cover and simmer 4 hours or until fork tender. Serve on rice or noodles.
