Combine butter, cream, and cheese. Heat thoroughly. Cook and drain fettucini. Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss lightly to coat noodles evenly.
For primavera version: microwave zucchini, broccoli, carrots, or other vegetables and add to sauce.
Another variation calls for one 9 oz. pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, thawed and halved, and 1/3 cup chopped pimento mixed into the fettucini.
