Green Pear Jello Salad
(from Grandma Bauer)
- 1 pkg. lime jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 can pear halves
- maraschino cherries
Make jello according to package directions. Put a maraschino cherry inside each pear half and place each pear cherry side down in a jello ring mold. Pour green jello mixture over pears. Refrigerate until set. To serve, dip the bottom of the pan briefly in hot water to loosen the mold, and invert onto a serving plate.
It wouldn't be Christmas (or Thanksgiving) without Grandma Bauer's Green Pear Jello!
