White Fruitcake

White Fruitcake

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add the wet and dry ingredients alternately with the apricot nectar. Add almonds, raisins, dried apricots, and fruit cake mix.

Bake in greased, floured pan at 300°F about 2 1/4 hours.

Makes 5 pounds.
